WINTER NEWS FROM DUCK CREEK

With the holidays upon us and another year gone by, we would like to express our appreciation for your support of our reloading business. We are thankful for all the blessings and freedom we enjoy and pray we can continue to do so in the future. December 07 is the Day of Infamy and felt it necessary to remember the lives lost at Pearl Harbor and throughout the conflict that that day caused.
You may not be aware, but we lost a great contributor to the reloading family in late August of this year. I want to recognize the contributions to the reloading and shooting industry of Dr. Todd A. Georgi. While employed at Hornady, Todd was the editor of the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading 4th Edition, in which all the images and much of the written text and explanations were Todd’s work. During this time, Todd won rifle competitions at several Cornhusker Games. Todd was also a college Biology professor at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He had a talent for expressing his love of firearms to any student who would listen; many who would later become firearms enthusiasts. After teaching at Doane College for over two decades, the college decided that higher education would be better served without a trap club and the professor running it.  We had the privilege and honor, although brief, of knowing Todd in the last year and a half of his life; a friendship cut short succumbing to his cancer battle.Text Link
In honor of our friend Todd, this season’s coupon code is GEORGI, with 12.5% savings on your cart valid through December 31, 2023. Still questioning the status of reloading components? The best gauge I can think of is our webpage www.duckcreeksportinggoods.com ! The shopping pages of reloading die sets and bullets are considered well-stocked for the products we choose to represent. All the brass cartridges available at the current time are on hand, WHEN the industry decides to increase availability then those items will become immediately available on the website. What is out there, we have; what’s not out there, we don’t have! Just a quick reminder when shopping on our website, you are looking at live inventory, therefore the inventory levels/quantities are correct and in real-time. Also, Duck Creek never sells what we do not have, that is a solid reason why backorders are not seen on the product pages. The only time a backorder is allowed is after I have already purchased the inventory and the shipping dates have been set for arrival.
Lastly, we would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year during this holiday season. We greatly appreciate the time you spend shopping with us, and we value the trust you have in us – – providing the best reloading website, user experience, and customer service we know to offer.
THANK YOU!Denny & Jennifer McDaniels
