Peterson Cartridge is classified as a premium brass company from Cranberry Township, PA .    The .260 REMINGTON is a design from Jim Carmichael that became a commercial cartridge in 1997.  At one time is was referred to simply as the 6.5-08 since being a wildcat originally formed by necking a .308 Winchester down to .264.  Performs well with medium-slow burning powders.
