Full box of vintage United Metallic Corporation (UMC) 35 Remington factory loaded smokeless powder ammunition, 200-grain Round Nose Soft Point (RN-SP) bullet. 20 rounds.
Slip top box is intact, primers have the “U” stamp. The box is labeled Soft Point, the ammunition is a metal cased bullet.
Union Metallic Cartridge (UMC) founded 1867 in Bridgeport, CT and later became the predecessor to Remington-UMC in 1912. This box dates between 1908 when the 35 Remington appeared and 1911 when the UMC label was replaced by RP-UMC.
