The 32 Winchester Special, a 30-30 necked up to accept .321 diameter bullets (CLICK HERE). Introduced in 1901 for the Winchester Model 94, had a slower 1:16 twist to aid to reducing fouling. When this cartridge was new many sportsman reloaded the 32 WS with black powder and shot cast bullets.

Brass case mouths MAY not perfectly round from the manufacturing process, this can be corrected by running brass through the size die (always recommended) prior to loading. Residue from the annealing process may leave a stain on the case neck that can be removed by tumbling. Annealing involves rapid heating then cooling to impart the shell cases with the proper hardness to securely hold bullets in place and provides flexibility to expand and contract through multiple firings handloaders expect.
