Historical Notes:
32 Long Colt was introduced in 1875 originally using a 90-grain outside-lubricated heeled bullet of .313 diameter.
Peters Cartridge Company was founded by Gershom Peters, operated in Kings Mill (near Cincinnati) from 1887 to 1944. Remington purchased the company in 1934. The green and red label style box is consistent with 1910-1925 production years, also within the time line of “SEMI-SMOKELESS” powder. Semi-Smokeless was a blend roughly 80% black powder and 20% nitrocellulose (gun-cotton), the purpose was to produce less smoke and fouling and generate lower pressures needed for black powder cartridge firearms.
