300 HAM’R origins stem from Bill Wilson (Wilson Combat) ambition was to create a supersonic .30-caliber AR-15 cartridge capable of producing 30-30 energy level.  It is almost .25 inches longer case than a Blackout creating room for more powder, in doing so this is not a subsonic cartridge.  Originally named 30-30 AR by Bill Wilson in 2018, with acceptance to SAAMI the 300 HAM’R became an official cartridge.
