Lot of REMINGTON250-3000 Savage (250 Savage)unprimed nickel rifle shell cases, 50 PCS packaged in plastic ammo box.

all are fired, unclear on number of firings, 12 are primed with Federal 210’s.  Cases are not pictured.

The .250-3000 Savage(250 Savage) , created by Charles Newton in 1915. As the name implies it is 25 caliber that achieved 3,000 feet per second designed for the Savage Model 99. This was achieved using 87 grain bullets, Newton intended for the use of 100 grains with the logic that heavier bullets perform better on deer sized game.

RELOADING PREPARATION:
Case mouths MAY not be perfectly round from the manufacturing process, this can be corrected by running brass through the size die (always recommended) prior to loading. Residue from the annealing process may leave a stain on the case neck that can be removed by tumbling. Annealing involves rapid heating then cooling to impart the shell cases with the proper hardness to securely hold bullets in place and provides flexibility to expand and contract through multiple firings.
