Vintage 244 Remington ammunition for sale-6mm Remington Ammunition

Vintage REMINGTON “KLEAN BORE” factory ammunition, 244 REMINGTON (aka 6mm Remington), 90-grain BRONZE POINTS bullets.

This is a shrink wrapped box in near mint condition.  As seen from the picture there is delamination at the one corner edge.  Circa 1955-1960.  The .244 Remington was introduced in 1955, the Green Box of this style was used up to 1960.   Remington rebranded the .244 and changed name to 6mm Remington in 1963.  This effort was to announce the twist from 1:12 (ideal rate to stabilize 75-grain bullets) to 1:9 so the cartridge can stabilize 100-grain bullets.
