Box with 50 factory new NORMA unprimed 17 Remington brass rifle cartridge cases,
History: The 17 Remington generates velocity exceeding nearly every commercially loaded cartridges available. The muzzle blast is on par produced by the 223, recoil is on same level as the 22 Hornet and trajectory rivals the 22-250. Remington based the case on the 222 Remington and released the 17 Remington in 1971. One of the draw backs to this cartridge is decrease in accuracy if the barrel is not cleaned often (usually every 20 shots fired). People reloading the 17 Remington today do have a wider variety of bullets and powder to chose from when compared to the 1970’s.
